Mission
Joseph Back launched Rapid Fire Home Buyers in late 2019, knowing that community engagement would be key to the company’s culture. While helping people with real estate challenges became our focus, defining our bigger mission was just as important. By 2021, our team had grown from 2 to 40 employees, and we had helped over 1,000 families. Recognizing the impact we could make, Joseph formalized our mission in January 2022: “Improving Communities One House at a Time.” We began partnering with local nonprofits, simply asking, “How can we help?” The answers led us to support seniors, women and children in need, and even local animal shelters.
Our Team
Our team embraced our mission with excitement, eager to make a difference. Ideas poured in as we found new ways to give back to the community we love. Even those new to tools picked up hammers and drills to rebuild decks, while others put on aprons and gloves to serve warm meals to seniors. Every project completed only fuels our passion for the next opportunity to help.
Joseph Back – Founder & President
Joseph Back is the Founder and President of Rapid Fire Home Buyers, where he’s made it Rapid Fire’s mission to improve communities one house at a time — whether they’re inherited, damaged, behind on payments, or just need to sell fast. With a background in real estate investing and sales, Joseph saw the stress some homeowners face when dealing with difficult properties and built a solution that offers speed, transparency, and peace of mind. He and his team works directly with sellers to understand their situation and provide real, no-hassle options — often closing in days, not months.
Eric Martin – Chief Operating Officer
Eric Martin, COO of Rapid Fire Home Buyers, specializes in creating simple, stress-free solutions for homeowners stuck with properties that don’t fit the traditional mold. Whether it’s a vacant rental, a home needing major repairs, or a complicated situation, Eric helps streamline the process so sellers can move on quickly. With a background in operations and team leadership, he’s built the behind-the-scenes systems that make every seller’s experience smooth and reliable. Eric is committed to ensuring every homeowner feels heard, respected, and taken care of — no matter their circumstances.
Some of MANY things we have done to accommodate sellers in the past:
- Picked up and drove a seller to the closing because their car was in the shop getting repaired
- Tracked down and obtained 36 signatures from siblings all over town who needed to part with an inherited property
- Worked with multiple homeowners who lived out of state and could not attend the closing
- Prevented a foreclosure by purchasing their house within 7 days. This resulted in money in the seller’s pocket, instead of the banks
- Purchased a property with tenants that refused to pay or move out
- Connecting the homeowner with a real estate professional who found them another house to live in
- Worked with a homeowner for 6 months through a short sale process when their house was underwater
- Traveled to the hospital to get a limited power of attorney signed by a family member
- Tracking down previous attorneys from decades past to resolve property title issues
